Postia is a self-taught artist working primarily with clay, using the Japanese Raku firing technique. Her upbringing on a farm in Lower Austria deeply influences her artistic approach — shaped by a close connection to animals, plants, and hands-on work with the earth.
Rather than aiming for perfection or rigid outcomes, she embraces experimentation and sees failure as a natural part of the creative process. Her work is intuitive and playful, driven by a deep familiarity with materia prima — the raw material she has known since childhood — and a strong sense of connection between humans and the earth.
