Chesa Planta was founded by four women from the von Planta family with the goal of promoting the Romansh language and culture. Today, the house is regarded as an important center of Romansh culture in the Upper Engadin, with its Romansh library and its language and culture weeks at its heart.
Multilingual theater productions exemplify how language promotion can be creatively implemented – providing a platform for locals, visitors, and artists who engage with the region’s culture.
Chesa Planta is a place of lived inclusion, integration, and identification – a house of a thousand dreams.
