NO S – / PACE

The internet has fundamentally changed how we perceive space and time. We communicate in real time across the globe, access unlimited information, and navigate a constant flow of content—anytime, anywhere. Images play a crucial role in this: they convey information quickly, evoke emotions, and shape the way we communicate online.

The speed and availability of the internet mean that information is consumed—and forgotten—faster than ever. Our attention spans are shrinking, and the constant flow of content makes it harder to hold onto individual moments.

Holding Time

This book emerged from personal interest and independent research. It presents images posted within a 24-hour period on the blog FFFFOUND—an online archive for visual discoveries from around the world. The images were sorted alphabetically by their existing filenames and translated from digital to analogue. The choice of paper, layout, and binding are essential parts of the concept: an attempt to give fleeting digital content a new, tangible structure and presence.
